HURRICANES LEND A HELPING HAND:
This is a new initiative for the season that invites members of the community, schools and charities to make a request for the full Hurricanes squad to lend a helping hand with a project of their choice.
Submissions closes on the 9th March and the community project the Hurricanes will help with will be announced the week the team returns from their South Africa and Australia tour, beginning Monday 12th March.

Wairarapa Adventure
WHEN: Thursday 9th February
TIME: Open training session
WHERE: Memorial Park, Masterton
WHAT: The team will have a public training session from 4.30pm. Captain Hurricane will be there, there will be giveaways and the opportunity to meet the Hurricanes! The guys hope to see you there.
Friday Night Meet the Hurricanes
WHEN: Friday 27th January
TIME: Full squad signing session
WHERE: Capital City Ford – Taranaki Street
WHAT: Come down and meet the squad for 2012 from 5.30-6.30pm. Captain Hurricane will be there, Free BBQ and giveaways.
The Hurricanes To Visit Palmerston North!
WHEN: Friday 27th January
TIME: Training 12-1.30pm
WHERE: Palmerston North Boys High School
WHAT: The team will have a public training session from 12-1.30. Captain Hurricane will be there, there will be giveaways and the opportunity to meet the Hurricanes! See you there and what a great way to finish the School Holidays!
Hurricanes Training in Porirua!
WHEN: Tuesday 20th December 2011
TIME: Training 2pm-3.30pm
WHERE: Outside Te Rauparaha Arena
WHAT: The team will have a public training session from 2-3.30pm. Captain Hurricane will be there, there will be giveaways and the opportunity to meet the Hurricanes! Come on down to Te Rauparaha Arena - perfect entertainment for the school holidays!
Hurricanes at the Johnsonville Rugby Club
WHEN: Monday 12th December 2011
TIME: Training 5-7pm
WHERE: Helston Park - Johnsonville Rugby Club
WHAT: The team will have a public training session at Helston park. There will be Captain Hurricane, giveaways and a chance to meet the guys after the training. The club will have a BBQ and cupcake stand to fundraise money for their junior teams - come on down and support them!
Open Training Session in Levin
WHEN: Thursday 8th November 2011
TIME: Training 11.30am-1.30pm
WHERE: Levin Domain, Queen Street.
WHAT: The team will have a public training session at the Levin Domain. There will giveaways and a chance to meet the guys after the training.
Seatoun Training
WHEN: Tuesday 29th November 2011
TIME: 2-3.30pm
WHERE: Seatoun Park
WHAT: The team will have a open training session at Seatoun Park, followed by a run to Breaker Bay and back. The team would love to meet local fans at the end of their session - 3.30pm. Come down and watch them train.
Open Training and Hill Run
WHEN: Monday 21st November 2011
TIME: 5.15pm
WHERE: Maidstone Park, Upper Hutt
WHAT: Hurricanes will have an open training session, followed by a run that local club players can join in with. The team will there to meet fans post training. Come along and get a photo or autograph!
